Three concrete ways to begin
Each message already contains a topic. You can add what kind of conversation you want: to vent, explore a situation, take your mind off it or consider a next step.
- “My colleague dumped their work on me again. What bothers me most is that they did not even ask.”
- “Nothing terrible happened today, but by the evening everything was irritating. I want to talk it through first.”
- “One scene from a film keeps coming back to me. I would like to discuss it.”
Explain the kind of conversation you want
You do not need to write a special AI prompt. An ordinary message about what happened is enough to begin.
- Name the event or thought you want to start with.
- Say whether you want advice. “No solutions for now; I want to tell you what happened” sets a clear boundary.
- If a reply goes off track, clarify the important part: “It was not the deadline that bothered me, but the way they spoke to me.”
- Continue at your own pace. You can change the subject or return to it later.
A conversation can lead to a small practical task
If you want to act, you can draft a reply to your colleague, make a quiet plan for the evening or choose a film. That follows your topic; it is not a compulsory exercise.
- “Help me reply calmly without agreeing to take on that work.”
- “Let’s leave advice for now. I would rather discuss the film.”
- “Now I want to choose one small thing to start the evening.”
